In Guyana, as in other countries in the world, there are many villages that have a rich history and of significant interest and has been apart of the development of such countries.
Guyana is proud to have many such villages and so in this blog we try to highlight some of those though there are many but we try to do those of which stand out.

- Wakapau
- Located in the Pomeroon Supenaam region of Guyana is the Arawak village Wakapau. On its west is the Wakapau River. This village is significant because if it’s conservation of the Arawakan culture, and has retained its tribal language.
